GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this position is to assist with the inbound receiving of production materials and the outbound delivery of materials to production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Using imbed reports to compile daily picks and accurately picking items from the existing inventory based on these reports.
- Delivering picks to assigned areas on time.
- Using proper equipment to unload truck deliveries.
- Cross-checking deliveries against packing slips to ensure order accuracy.
- Storing products in designated locations using appropriate equipment.
- Performing daily cycle counts, as well as monthly and annual physical inventories.
- Loading necessary materials, tools, and equipment onto trailers for field service deliveries.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stripping forms by removing finished cured goods and loading them onto trailers.
- Cleaning forms after product removal using scrapers, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc.
- Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or 'stressing' rebar strands, tying mesh, and installing imbeds (plates, vectors, core walls), and setting side rails.
- Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling.
- Finishing concrete with various tools/methods such as float, steel trowel, broom, rake, and power trowels to achieve the desired surface finish.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness and ability to work outside year-round as required.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to operate standard and rough terrain forklifts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl, and use hands/forearms frequently and repetitively.
- Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts at various heights frequently.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Moderate to high exposure to environmental elements and safety risks.
- Potential exposure to wet, hot, humid, and wintery conditions depending on the plant environment.
- Ability to work outside year-round in various weather conditions.
