Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


The purpose of this position is to assist with the inbound receiving of production materials and the outbound delivery of materials to production.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Using imbed reports to compile daily picks and accurately picking items from the existing inventory based on these reports.

  • Delivering picks to assigned areas on time.

  • Using proper equipment to unload truck deliveries.

  • Cross-checking deliveries against packing slips to ensure order accuracy.

  • Storing products in designated locations using appropriate equipment.

  • Performing daily cycle counts, as well as monthly and annual physical inventories.

  • Loading necessary materials, tools, and equipment onto trailers for field service deliveries.


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Stripping forms by removing finished cured goods and loading them onto trailers.

  • Cleaning forms after product removal using scrapers, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc.

  • Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or 'stressing' rebar strands, tying mesh, and installing imbeds (plates, vectors, core walls), and setting side rails.

  • Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling.

  • Finishing concrete with various tools/methods such as float, steel trowel, broom, rake, and power trowels to achieve the desired surface finish.


EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

  • Willingness and ability to work outside year-round as required.

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.

  • Ability to operate standard and rough terrain forklifts.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl, and use hands/forearms frequently and repetitively.

  • Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.

  • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts at various heights frequently.


WORKING CONDITIONS:



  • Moderate to high exposure to environmental elements and safety risks.

  • Potential exposure to wet, hot, humid, and wintery conditions depending on the plant environment.

  • Ability to work outside year-round in various weather conditions.
