Job summary

MRC Global is seeking a warehouse associate in Munster, Indiana to support inbound and outbound operations. You will unload, inspect, and stock materials, pick and pack orders, and prepare shipment documentation for various carriers.

A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required to maintain accurate data in the inventory system. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in stock placement, and adherence to company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record at all times.
• Ability to learn MRC Global procedures, regulations and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload material, tools and equipment from vendor trucks and inspect for quality.
• Stock and transfer material to shelves, bins, or racks in a predetermined sequence.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package per requirements.
• Pull orders for delivery and load onto trucks using forklift or crane.
• Prepare documentation for shipments (UPS, LTL, SH, Air Shipments).
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow OSHA and safety policies.
• Report hazards, injuries, or illnesses promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
