Job summary

MRC Global Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Long Beach, CA, to maintain stock flow, pull and pack orders, and support loading and unloading operations. The role requires mobility, basic math, data entry, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to learn safety and warehouse procedures. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn MRC Global policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Typing and basic computer skills required for data entry and inventory systems.
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions and product specifications.
• Basic math and reading skills for accurate inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks and prepare them for stock.
• Inspect material to ensure it meets MRC Global quality requirements.
• Stock and transfer materials to shelves, bins, or racks with correct labeling.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package as per requirements.
• Pull orders for delivery and prepare shipments (UPS, LTL, etc.).
• Load materials onto trucks or pallets using forklift or heavy equipment as applicable.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness according to OSHA and company policies.
• Report hazards or injuries and adhere to company code of conduct.
