Job summary

Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Fairfield facility. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, manage stock, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, can lift 40+ lbs, and is dependable and a team player. Training on safety procedures and equipment like reach trucks is provided; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse operation experience.
• Reach truck and/or cherry picker experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift more than 40 lbs and frequent lifting 20 to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 21 feet above ground with safety equipment.
• Dependable and a team player.
• Basic computer skills; accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders as indicated on pick tickets and process in system.
• Wrap and label pallets; load trucks as needed.
• May operate an industrial forklift.
• Conduct bin walks; check empty bins as requested.
• Align pallets in slots and level load slots.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as requested by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
