Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Picker/Packer to support efficient warehouse distribution in St. Charles, MO. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18 per hour, depending on experience, with duties including pulling items, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities involve using RF guns and other equipment, ensuring orders match tickets, and maintaining safe, organized inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ experience coordinating shipments in warehousing or distribution.
• Ability to perform tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Handle pick tickets/orders from warehouse staff to pull items.
• Use RF guns and other electronic equipment as needed.
• Physically pull items by size, color, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Pack/wrap orders and prepare for shipment.
• Transport orders to shipping locations and ensure correct staging.
• Operate material handling equipment following safety guidelines.
• Assist in inventory counts and maintain warehouse safety.
