Job summary

Eckart LLC is seeking a Jobsite Operator to safely operate forklifts, lull, and telehandlers to move packages, documents, and heavy freight. You will load, unload, and position goods while following strict safety procedures and work with the SEG liaison as required.

Requirements include a minimum high school diploma and forklift experience; the role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential training and advancement opportunities within a family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification desirable and useful for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including forklifts, lull, and telehandlers to move packages and heavy freight.
• Load, unload, transport, and position heavyweight goods following safety procedures.
• Assist with build-up/breakdown of pallets for shipment preparation.
• Inspect equipment before/after use and report safety or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and adhere to safety standards and policies.
• Coordinate movement of materials to support operations and customer service.
• Serve as liaison between Eckart LLC and SEG as required to address needs.
• Ensure accurate handling, storage, and movement of freight and materials.
• Support warehouse tasks and freight processing as needed.
• Comply with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
