Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler in Kenosha, WI. You will be on your feet, perform order picking, and assist with loading and staging goods in a fast-paced distribution center.

Starting pay is $21.14 per hour with two pay raises in the first year, plus incentives, benefits, and weekly pay. No prior experience required as we provide training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work Sundays–Thursdays, 8:00 AM start.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Will successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with order picking and packing.
• Load and unload goods from pallets and containers.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Meet or exceed production and efficiency targets.

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
