Job summary

Scheels in Rochester, MN is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Associate to unload and unpack shipments, organize inventory, and prepare items for backstock. You will operate pallet jacks and navigate data systems, with a typical schedule 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, averaging 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree and/or 1-3 months of warehouse or freight receiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload and unpack shipping trucks
• Ability to organize and prioritize incoming freight to efficiently and accurately receive inventory
• Examine shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages/overages
• Develop and execute claims on mis-ships and defective products
• Work with specialty shop managers and merchandisers to distribute items to correct backstock or the warehouse
• Assist merchandisers by attaching identification and price tags
• Operate motorized or non-motorized pallet jack to move shipments between platforms, backstock, or the warehouse
• Ability to navigate a personal computer (Google Suite, AS400, etc.) and a phone (inventory, pricing, receiving, etc.)
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which is typically Monday through Friday daytime hours, but may include some evening or weekend hours as needed
