Job summary

Kettle Cuisine in Lynn, MA is hiring a Warehouse Freezer Picker to manage fresh and frozen goods in the cooler and freezer. You will pick, count, and organize inventory, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely loading for shipment.

Schedule is 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Candidates should have warehouse experience, forklift certification, and comfort working in temperature-controlled environments. Team collaboration and safety are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of the freezer and fresh goods cooler.
• Picks fresh and frozen finished goods orders.
• Organizes and prioritizes pick-orders for the day.
• Bi-weekly counts & reconciliation of Finished Goods in the freezer or cooler.
• Bi-weekly counts & reconciliation of Raw Materials in the freezer or cooler.
• Follows FIFO (first in-first out) rotation for orders.
• Adheres to GMPs and HCAPP.
• Performs daily checks for non-compliance and reports to the manager.
• Collects goods needed in shipments and loads shipments into the truck.
• Communicates inventory issues to relevant parties.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Warehouse Picker/Shipper picks, puts-away, counts and maintains organization in the fresh goods cooler and the freezer. This position is also responsible for collecting goods needed in the shipment and loading shipment into the truck.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manages the cleanliness of the freezer and fresh goods cooler

Responsible for picking fresh and frozen finished goods orders

Organizes and prioritizes pick-order for the day

Conducts bi-weekly counts & reconciliation of Finished Goods in the freezer or cooler

Conducts bi-weekly counts & reconciliation of Raw Materials in the freezer or cooler

Responsible for picking fresh and frozen finished goods orders, following FIFO (first in-first out) rotation.

Always adheres to safe working practices

Follows the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and HCAPP

Performs daily checks of area for non-compliance and reports them to the manager

Collects goods that are needed in the shipment

Loads shipment into the truck

Communicates and updates all relevant parties of any issues or changes to inventory

Additional reasonable tasks as assigned

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

Works under general supervision. Makes decisions within clearly prescribed areas referring matters that fall outside that area to others

Position is not responsible for influencing the decisions or actions of others

Position has little to no contact with customers

Position has little or no impact on revenue, actions and results are subject to review or inspections

Decisions or actions have a limited impact on the business – typically within a department. Errors are usually detected through routine verification/review, but may result in some work flow disruption or repetition of work

Required Skills

Pay Range for Warehouse Freezer Picker

The Warehouse Freezer Picker base pay range$24 USD + shift differential/hourly.The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum fornew hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’srate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time.In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team membersas a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.The Warehouse Freezer Picker position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for the annual discretionarybonus program up to 5%.
