Job summary

Harold Levinson Associates in New York, NY is seeking a warehouse associate to pick and pack orders, load coolers, and maintain inventory in a cold storage environment. You will use a wearable computer and handheld scanner to move stock, process shipments, and keep work areas organized.

The role requires 1-2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to stand or bend for long periods. This is an in-person position with uniform safety gear provided and opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with working in a freezer; appropriate gear is supplied.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Will be bending, lifting, and/or standing for long periods of time.
• Able to scan and understand the hand-held scanner.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders using a wearable computer, pulling stock, packing boxes, and placing orders on pallets and or conveyors
• Load coolers for delivery to customers
• Maintains inventory by collecting stock from proper locations and filling customer order requests
• Completes shipments by processing truck manifests
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean work area, complying with procedures, warehouse rules and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing departmental goals
