Job summary

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking experienced Stand-Up Forklift Drivers for our Romeoville warehouse. You will operate stand-up forklifts, shuttle pallets between docks, and organize pallets while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Mandatory overtime may be required, and you must pass drug and background checks with two forms of ID. We offer full-time employment with overtime opportunities, benefits including dental and vision insurance, and a collaborative warehouse

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Stand‑up forklift experience required.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must provide 2 valid forms of identification.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts.
• Must be willing to work mandatory overtime when requested.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

STAND-UP FORKLIFT DRIVER — ROMEOVILLE, IL

Experienced Stand-Up Forklift Drivers Wanted

• Freight Breakers LLC is hiring experienced Stand-Up Forklift Drivers to join our warehouse team in Romeoville!
• We are looking for focused, dependable drivers who take pride in working safely, accurately, and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate stand-up forklifts ONLY to safely move pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Shuttle pallets from dock to dock as needed.
• Organize and stage pallets in designated warehouse areas.
• Provide warehouse dock support throughout the day.
• Move pallets efficiently to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
• Assist with additional pallet movement and warehouse tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Pay

• First Shift: $22.00/hour
• Second Shift: $23.50/hour
• Full-time hours with mandatory overtime when requested.

Schedule

• First Shift
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Sunday – Tuesday 12-hour shifts
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Wednesday – Saturday 10-hour shifts
• Second Shift / Overnight
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM| Sunday – Tuesday 12-hour shifts
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Wednesday – Saturday 10-hour shifts
