Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is hiring a Forklift Operator in Broadview, IL. The role includes operating forklifts in warehouse and production, loading/unloading shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM, at a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Benefits include weekly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k), and paid leave. Prior forklift experience and RF scanner proficiency are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, stack and relocate materials.
• Load/unload trailers and ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Transport materials between receiving, production, storage and shipping areas.
• Secure raw materials, finished goods, pallets and inventory.
• Scan material movements using RF scanners and update records.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, quality and safety.
• Keep work areas clean and safe while complying with GMPs and food safety standards.
• Assist with other warehouse or production duties as needed.

Shifts & Pay: $19.00/hr

Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a vital role in keeping warehouse and production operations running efficiently while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately. Your responsibilities may include:

• Operating industrial forklifts to move, load, unload, stack, and relocate materials throughout the facility
• Loading and unloading trailers while ensuring shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Transporting materials between receiving, production, storage, and shipping areas
• Organizing and securing raw materials, finished goods, pallets, and inventory
• Scanning all material movements using an RF scanner
• Performing daily pre- and post-operation forklift inspections
• Reporting equipment issues, rack damage, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to supervisors
• Wrapping finished goods and preparing products for shipment as needed
• Maintaining accurate documentation related to inventory, quality, and safety
• Keeping equipment and work areas clean, organized, and operating safely
• Following all OSHA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and company safety policies
• Assisting with other warehouse or production duties as assigned
