Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support distribution across the US. The role offers a weekly pay cycle, benefits, and opportunities within a safety-conscious team.

Pay starts at $17.25 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift premium, 5:30pm–6:00am, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. High school diploma preferred; forklift license required; ability to lift up to 35 lbs; strong teamwork and reliability encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measures and contract guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
