Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Jackson, TN. The role features weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a safety-first production and distribution team.

Responsibilities include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting with RF scanners and electric forklifts. Training is provided, and a strong emphasis is placed on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license/certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within contract performance guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
