W. SILVER is seeking a forklift operator to safely move materials during unloading, loading, and storage within a busy site. You will handle bales, boxes, pallets, and other items while following safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-inspections, reporting issues, weighing items, and completing paperwork. A High School diploma is required; some forklift experience is preferred, with a 40-hour work week on site.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable and safe operation of forklift to transfer materials during unloading, loading, processing, and transfer to storage.
• Organizing and securing stored materials according to safety standards.
• Manually loading or unloading materials from pallets, platforms, skids, or other lifting devices.
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on equipment and report issues.
• Report damage to company property including racking, trailers, and equipment.
• Weigh products and record weight and other information on labels.
• Complete paperwork and tally sheets accurately and timely.
• Prepare material for shipment and ensure load is ready for transport.
• Attend forklift operator training and certification as requested.
• Greet customers on site and assist with material purchases.
