C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is hiring for a Night Shift Forklift Operator in Westfield, MA. The role focuses on replenishing product levels, stocking, and safe handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate a forklift, track inventory with a handheld device, and support daily order fulfillment. Qualified candidates have 1+ year of material handling equipment experience, a strong safety mindset, and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse.
• Accurately track inventory using a handheld computer.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all safety protocols for forklift operation; perform occasional lifting.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Job Description

• Earn $25.00 per hour + $2.00 Freezer pay


• Full Time, Night Shift


• Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00pm to 5:30am or completion of the shift


• 10-12 hour shifts

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse


• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology


• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment


• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders


• Staging finished product in designated storage areas


• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers


• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse


• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more


• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
