Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) is seeking a warehouse associate in Grand Junction, CO. Under supervision, you will perform barcode processing, box handling, and pickups/deliveries while ensuring safety and accuracy across daily operations.

Responsibilities include operating the picker forklift, conducting safety checks, maintaining equipment, and contributing to bay consolidations. Requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and accurate in handling boxes and data.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically capable of lifting 40–50 lb boxes daily.
• Proficient with handheld devices and basic equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Barcode and process new boxes.
• Pull access list and refile boxes/files.
• Barcode and process boxes for destruction.
• Perform bay consolidations and warehouse maintenance.
• Operate picker forklift and other equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after use (battery, brakes, lift, extinguisher).
• Make pickups and deliveries; vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Follow procedures and suggest improvements.
• Return equipment to charging station at day end.
