Job summary

Gold Star Foods is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Dixon, CA to safely operate forklifts, move stock, and support inventory control in a fast-paced food warehouse.

You will perform pre- and post-inspections, maintain clean work areas, follow safety protocols, and communicate with supervisors to coordinate daily tasks. High school diploma preferred; forklift experience required; willingness to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Experience in a food warehouse is a plus.
• Strong attention to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products.
• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including forklift and warehouse spaces.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Assist in inventory control by counting and recording merchandise.
• Communicate with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
• Report forklift malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Adhere to company policies including food safety and hygiene.
• Participate in training and meetings to enhance job knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
