Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move stock within the warehouse, loading and unloading shipments, and operating stand-up, sit-down, clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

You will load/unload, prepare products for shipment, maintain inventory records, and comply with OSHA standards. Regular equipment maintenance and daily inspections are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion within first 30 days
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or power equipment
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types
• Keep records for inventory accuracy
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy and report variances
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks as needed
• Maintain equipment and work area in a neat, clean, safe condition
• Assist in physical inventories
• Complete daily equipment inspections
• Perform other duties as assigned
