Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Receiving Equipment Operator to safely use a cherry picker up to 40 feet, and to locate and store products using RF scanners across the distribution center. The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate put-away processes, and adherence to safety standards.

The position offers competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing omnichannel retailer. Flexible hours may be required to support department needs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.

Job Title: Receiving Equipment Operator

Job Overview

The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community.
• All other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
• Sitting: 5%
• Desk or phone work: 5%
