Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift. You will safely operate a cherry picker, forklift and related equipment, perform case picking and pallet loading, and help maintain inventory records.

The role is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, prorated PTO, holiday pay, and Employee Assistance Program. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift/cherry picker experience.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience – required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker, standard forklift, and other powered equipment.
• Perform case picking, full pallet picking, and stowing duties.
• Perform load and unload duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.
