Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift at our Indianapolis, IN location. The role involves safely operating cherry pickers and forklifts, handling case and pallet picking, and supporting inventory accuracy during busy seasonal periods.

Compensation starts at $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, with full-time hours and benefits eligibility. On-demand pay and a company culture focused on safety and engagement are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift/cherry picker experience required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker, standard forklift, and other powered equipment.
• Perform case picking, full pallet picking, and stowing duties.
• Perform load and unload duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am), Sunday-Thursday - overtime required including Friday
