WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR - 2nd SHIFT

Job Summary

We are hiring dynamic Warehouse Forklift Operators who excel in driving forklifts and are passionate about ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of medical equipment. If you're proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, we want you to join our growing team!

Shift and Compensation

2nd shift positions are available, working hours are 1pm - 9pm, Monday - Friday. The starting pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

1. Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize medical equipment within the warehouse.
2. Pick and pack orders accurately to ensure on-time shipments.
3. Conduct inventory checks and maintain an organized warehouse.
4. Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping processes.

Qualifications

1. Experience in operating a forklift is preferred but not required.
2. Familiarity with order picking and packing procedures.
3. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
4. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand, bend, walk for up to 8 hours.
5. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
6. Comfortable with computer tablets, monitors, and scanners.

Training Program

The 5-tier training includes:

1. Forklift Operation and Safety: Training on safe forklift operation and safety protocols specific to handling medical equipment.
2. Order Picking and Packing Procedures: Learning company-specific procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
3. Inventory Management: Conducting counts, tracking stock, and reporting discrepancies.
4. Warehouse Organization and Layout: Familiarization with warehouse layout to optimize workflow.
5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
