Warehouse Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift (Transportation)

Job Summary

We are hiring dynamic Warehouse Forklift Operators, who not only excel in driving a forklift but are also passionate about ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of medical equipment. If you're a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization, we want you to be a part of our growing team!

2nd shift positions are available, with working hours of 1pm - 9pm, Monday - Friday. The starting pay rate for Warehouse Forklift Operators is $22.00 per hour.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize medical equipment within the warehouse.
2. Pick and pack orders with precision to ensure accurate and on-time shipments.
3. Perform inventory checks and maintain a well-organized warehouse space.
4. Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping processes.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in operating a forklift in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
2. Familiarity with order picking and packing procedures.
3. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
4. Ability to lift cases of up to 70 pounds as well as stand, bend over, and walk for up to 8 hours.
5. Effective communication skills and a team player attitude.
6. Comfortable with computer tablets, monitors, and scanners.

Training Period:

During the 5-tier training period, the Warehouse Forklift Operator will learn:

1. Forklift Operation and Safety: Training on safe and efficient operation of a forklift.
2. Order Picking and Packing Procedures: Training on specific order picking and packing procedures.
3. Inventory Management: Instruction on effective inventory management practices.
4. Warehouse Organization and Layout: Orientation to the warehouse layout and organization.
5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Education on quality standards for handling and packaging medical equipment.
