Job summary

Cumberland Dairy in New Jersey is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators to perform forklift operation, picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, and loading/unloading inbound and outbound goods. You will maintain storage and rotation and follow GMP/SOP guidelines, working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and a second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum six months forklift experience in a high-efficiency environment.
• Must have forklift operator certification.
• Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 pounds, and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated Warehouse Forklift Operators to perform any combination of operating forklift, picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging upcoming outbound orders, and effectively maintain product storage and rotation. Additionally, Warehouse Forklift Operators are responsible for handling finish product in a safe and efficient manner while communicating effectively with team members as well as following GMP and SOP rules and regulations.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum six months experience in operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
• Must have forklift operator’s certification
• Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 pounds, and assist others when lifting is necessary
• Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
