Job summary

Cumberland Dairy is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Bridgeton, NJ to perform forklift operations, order picking, palletizing, and loading/unloading. You will adhere to GMP and SOPs while ensuring safe handling of products.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and a second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. Benefits include 401(k) with company contributions, paid vacation, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum six months forklift experience in a high-efficiency environment.
• Must have forklift operator’s certification.
• Must pass written and driving forklift skills test.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to work in 35–40°F environment.
• Ability to lift 50–80 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move and stack product.
• Pick, pull, build orders, palletize, load and unload outbound orders.
• Maintain product storage and rotation.
• Follow GMP/SOP rules and communicate effectively with team.

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated Warehouse Forklift Operators to perform any combination of operating forklift, picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging upcoming outbound orders, and effectively maintain product storage and rotation. Additionally, Warehouse Forklift Operators are responsible for handling finish product in a safe and efficient manner while communicating effectively with team members as well as following GMP and SOP rules and regulations.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum six months experience in operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
• Must have forklift operator’s certification
• Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds with capabilities to lift up to 80 pounds, and assist others when lifting is necessary
• Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
