Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Joliet, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay $31.50 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift- Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two years of related warehouse and powered industrial lift experience
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and understand instructions in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into computer systems
• Work overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
• Recognize and correct process errors and damaged products
• Pull and stage orders accurately
• Prepare documentation for receiving, storage, and shipping
• Follow safety and security policies
• Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery
• May train others and perform housekeeping duties
