Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Operator - 1st Shift based in Bolingbrook, IL, USA. You will operate forklifts safely and accurately, including loading/unloading trailers, verifying skid quantities, managing merchandise placement, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

1. Pass forklift certification and safety tests.
2. Perform safety checks on equipment.
3. Recharge batteries or replace gas tanks as needed.
4. Use RF equipment for inventory management.
5. Unload trailers and verify contents.
6. Place products in racks and load trailers accurately using RF systems.
7. Manage inventory control, tracking, and reporting.
8. Organize storage space and coordinate material movement.
9. Communicate courteously with supervisors and team members.
10. Perform additional duties and participate in projects as assigned.

Position Details

We offer shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The 1st shift is from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with a set schedule including Sundays off, one additional day off of your choice, and mandatory Saturdays.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or shipping.
2. Experience operating machinery and safety compliance.
3. Ability to read and understand instructions.
4. Capable of handling high-volume tasks under pressure.
5. Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
6. Proven forklift control skills, including handling controls and navigating tight spaces.
7. Knowledge of forklift dimensions and weight capacities.
8. Good spatial awareness for safe operation.
9. Ability to exert physical force as required.
10. Ability to read instructions in English and/or Spanish.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $17.03 to $20.08 per hour.
• Benefits include medical, vision, dental, paid time off, and a competitive 401(k) match.
