Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Lincolnton, NC is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The role includes forklift tasks, inventory checks, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.

• Hourly Pay $17.12 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

• Products Being Handled: Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors etc.
• Equipment: Sit-Down Forklifts, Pallet Jacks & Hand Truck (MVR required as you will be driving a company truck)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day
• Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
