Ryder System, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA is hiring a Floater Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator on first shift. You will operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, handle inbound items, and support safety and accuracy across multiple site locations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to travel within the area 25–50% of the day.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel; familiarity with scanners and WMS systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate equipment and follow performance metrics per contract.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $18.43 per hour

• Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Floater position - you will travel between sites occasionally

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a clean driving record anda personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25 - 50 % of the day

• Strong technical aptitude which includes usingMicrosoft Outlook, Word and Excel,scanners andenter orders into a WMS System

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)

• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production

• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract

• Performs other duties as assigned.
