Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator to receive, store, and distribute materials in our warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, perform pre-shift checks, load/unload, and ensure safe, accurate handling of goods; a high school diploma and 2+ years' experience are required, plus forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Forklift Operator role.
• Must understand oral and written instructions in English.
• Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all Forklift Operating SOPs for assigned Warehouse area.
• Utilize industrial power equipment to raise and lower materials to storage locations.
• Deliver materials from storage/staging locations to the specified department or shipping dock.
• Take on multiple tasks while executing daily operations safely and professionally.
• Complete pre-shift equipment checks and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility.
