Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $16.74 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Products Being Handled: Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc.

Equipment: Sit-Down Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, etc.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong technical aptitude, including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS System
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work both indoors and outside

Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned.
