Hood Distribution is looking for a warehouse/material handler worker for the New Albany, IN facility. Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings and related wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.

Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse operations and distribution
• Forklift experience and certification is required
• Wood product experience not required but is preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependability a must
• Able to load and unload trailers
• Must have a clean driving record to obtain medical card
• Customer Service
• Good math skills
• Able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Lift up to 70 lbs.

Candidates having wood products experience and knowledge are encouraged to apply. Consideration will be given to candidates that possess a clean motor vehicle record, willing to obtain a medical card to offer the flexibility in local deliveries in a small hotshot truck when needed.Primary position will be working in the warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
