Job summary

American Metals Supply is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to unload HVAC parts, inspect shipments, stock shelves, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup. The role involves inventory counts, order accuracy, and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation required.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Non-climate controlled warehouse environment (hot/cold).
• 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of HVAC parts and supplies.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Verify items received against purchase orders or packing slips.
• Stock shelves and organize HVAC products in the warehouse.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counts.
• Pick, label and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Ensure accuracy of items and quantities in each order.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Assist in loading trucks for delivery in an organized and secure manner.
• Use handheld scan guns for inventory tracking and product management.
