Job summary

New Castle Building Products in Middletown, NY is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support our dynamic warehouse operations. You will load and unload trucks, fulfill customer orders from stock, move materials onto pallets, assist in inventory and operate a forklift safely in accordance with DOT guidelines.

• Experience operating forklift and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material.
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or for receipt into the warehouse.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment.
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times.
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $18 - $24/hour plus additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
