Job summary

New Castle Building Products in Middletown, NY is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support daily receiving, loading/unloading trucks, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will operate a forklift safely, assist in inventory counts, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse while ensuring accurate material handling and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment and order fulfillment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material.
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment.
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times.
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.
