Job summary

New Castle Building Products (NCBP) in Middletown, NY is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator to support order fulfillment and material handling in a dynamic warehouse environment.

You will load/unload trucks, count inventory, operate forklifts safely, and ensure order accuracy while adhering to DOT regulations. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with building materials and check in material.
• Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders.
• Load materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or receipt into the warehouse.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Operate forklifts and trucks in a safe, compliant manner.
• Keep warehouse organized and orderly at all times.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, including vehicle inspections and hours of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Frequent standing, walking, and crouching.

Our location based in Middletown, NY is seeking a full time Warehouse/Forklift Operator. Candidates should have the ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment and order fulfillment is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds

MAIN JOB TASKS & REQUIREMENTS

• Loading and unloading trucks of building materials including the checking-in of material
• Fulfilling customer orders from stock based on work orders
• Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for either delivery or for receipt into the warehouse
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
• Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
• Drive heavy-duty / commercial trucks and operate warehouse & truck mounted forklifts.
• Adhere to DOT regulations (such as vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service).
• Load material onto trucks, and offload material at job sites... while checking material for order accuracy.
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $18 - $24/hour plus additional benefits.In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
