Job summary

Ryder in Minooka, IL is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators to join our clean, well-run facilities and support a safe, efficient supply chain.

Earn $21.63 per hour with weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, including Medical, Dental, Vision and a 401(k) plan with company match. PTO accrues up to 80 hours in the first year, and employee discounts help save on tools, cars, travel and more.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly.

Hourly Pay: $21.63 per hour.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
