Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Minooka, Illinois is seeking a Forklift/Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate reach trucks, perform picking and packing, and contribute to a safe, efficient supply chain.

The role offers weekly pay, paid training, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO from day 1, and employee discounts. Must have a forklift license and prefer 1+ year experience. Schedule Sunday–Thursday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Warehouse Forklift Operator Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.63 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour shift differential
• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
