Job summary

FBD GROUPS in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Warehouse / Forklift Lead to support growing operations. This role blends daily warehouse duties with leading a team, assigning tasks, and ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time performance.

You will operate forklifts, receive and ship inventory, train new staff, perform inspections, and keep areas organized. English with Mandarin a plus; company-paid medical insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience with forklift operation.
• Experience leading or coordinating warehouse tasks.
• Basic English; Mandarin Chinese a plus.
• Familiar with WMS or RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and store inventory.
• Perform daily warehousing tasks: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory counts.
• Assign daily tasks based on workload and schedules.
• Monitor progress, adjust assignments, and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist training of new employees on procedures and safety.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report issues.
• Keep storage areas organized and products safely stacked.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve discrepancies.

Pay: Starting at $25 per hour, depending on experience

About Us

We are a warehousing and logistics company providing ocean freight coordination, customs clearance, port container pickup, warehousing, fulfillment, and after-sales repair services. We are looking for a reliable, proactive Warehouse / Forklift Lead to support our growing operations.

This is a hands-on role that combines daily warehouse and forklift duties with assigning work, coordinating team members, and helping ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, move, and put away inventory.
• Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory counts.
• Assign daily tasks based on workload, shipment schedules, and operational priorities.
• Monitor team progress and work accuracy, adjust assignments as needed, and communicate issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with training new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Keep storage areas organized, aisles clear, and products safely stacked.
• Work with the warehouse supervisor to resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience and the ability to operate a forklift safely and proficiently.
• Familiarity with receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, and inventory procedures.
• Previous experience as a warehouse lead or assigning and coordinating team tasks is preferred.
• Basic English communication, reading, and writing skills sufficient to understand work instructions, orders, labels, and safety requirements.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative and follow through on daily assignments.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners is a plus.
