Job summary

Holman Logistics Option 2 is seeking a Training Specialist to coordinate training schedules across shifts and conduct sessions on unloading, preloading and loading, ensuring consistent delivery of safety and process standards.

You will run group and one-on-one training, evaluate progress, and complete trainee reports, collaborating with management to update materials and improve procedures while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Experience: Five (5) years related experience.
• Computer Skills: Basic scanner technology; basic computer skills.

Job description

• Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of all shifts.
• Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as unloading, preloading, loading, etc.
• Conducts group and/or one-on-one training sessions, as needed.
• Evaluates trainees to measure progress and effectiveness of training.
• Completes training reports on trainees.
• Assists Team Members with problems concerning “how to” perform specific tasks related to forklift operation.
• Creates and updates training manuals and agendas.
• Confers with management to develop training materials.
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of all training programs.
• Makes suggestions on improving work procedures.
• Performs all essential functions of the Material Handler position.
• Reliable attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
