Job summary

Versova seeks a dedicated Forklift Driver to efficiently manage receipt, storage, and dispatch of finished goods in a cold warehouse environment. You will operate forklifts, verify goods, and maintain accurate inventory while upholding safety standards.

The role requires basic math, ability to read instructions, and teamwork. Overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required to meet production demands. Versova values safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of general work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a forklift driving test.
• Ability to read, understand, and speak simple sentences and follow directions and instructions.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with two-digit numbers, and working with money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and /or holiday hours as required based on the production demand.
• Ability to work in various climate conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify finished goods against purchase orders and work orders.
• Transport finished goods to storage areas and organize them in appropriate locations using forklifts.
• Pick finished goods from designated locations and complete transactions on the computer RF Scanner or pick sheet.
• Build and mark pallets for efficient delivery.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Actively participate in and promote a safety culture by following safe work practices and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• R eport incidents , accidents and any unsafe conditions.
• Supply materials to Denesters , Packers, and Palletizers
• Inventory materials into warehouse
• Other duties as assigned.
