Job summary

Holman Logistics in Conway, AR is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lift Operator to operate forklifts, stage products, and move items safely within the warehouse. Schedule Sunday to Wednesday 6am-4:30pm with compensation of $18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, loading/unloading, maintaining organized work areas, and adhering to safety standards. At least two years in a warehouse/manufacturing setting and high school diploma required; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a lift truck continually on shift and maneuvers in reverse as needed.
  • Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspects product condition, ensuring it is damage-free and uncontaminated.
  • Moves and places product safely in its storage location and stages for outbound loads.
  • Loads/unloads materials from pallets, trailers, or lines with proper securing.
  • Operates lifting devices to transport and stack material.
  • Loads/unloads from pallets, skids, or platforms manually.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in the department.
  • Maintains reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Completes all duties as assigned and follows security guidelines.

  • Operates a lift truck continually on shift. Must be able to be proficient in driving backwards
and able to look in the direction of travel on a continual basis.
  • Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary
equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries (operating a man-on-board battery
(magnetic) system) and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
  • Inspects condition of product verifying that it is free of damage or contamination.
  • Moves and places product safely and securely in its proper storage location.
  • Stages product for outbound loads with correct requirements.
  • Removes and empties waste bins into proper receptacles.
  • Moves controls to drive lift trucks and transport raw materials, finishing supplies or finished
product to and from the warehouse, trailers or operating lines.
  • Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and
swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
  • Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secure
material or products for transport to designated areas.
  • Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
  • Operates a powered air supplied respirator to perform cleaning functions.
  • Housekeeping of department/areas
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills & Abilities
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience: Two (2) years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer or tablet skills; hand-held radio.
  • Certificates & Licenses: Forklift Certification preferred. Must be able to complete
Holman’s forklift certification program.
