Job summary

Randstad USA on Long Island is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to manage the full warehouse process, including receiving materials, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and preparing outgoing shipments.

Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, shipping/receiving, and ensuring accurate inventory records while following safety procedures. The role runs 8 AM–4 PM, with a High School education requirement and a competitive compensation package.

Warehouse / Forklift Operator

Do you have warehouse experience with forklift operation, shipping & receiving, and inventory?

Randstad is currently hiring an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator for an established Long Island manufacturer. We are looking for someone who can handle the full warehouse process — receiving materials, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and preparing outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and incoming/outgoing shipments
• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials

Warehouse / Forklift – Responsibilities

• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Organize and maintain warehouse stock and storage locations.
• Assist with order fulfillment, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling.
• Use inventory/warehouse systems to document material movement as required.
• Follow all warehouse, forklift, quality, and safety procedures.
