Job summary

Randstad USA on Long Island is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to manage the full warehouse process, including receiving materials, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and preparing outgoing shipments.

Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, shipping/receiving, and ensuring accurate inventory records while following safety procedures. The role runs 8 AM–4 PM, with a High School education requirement and a competitive compensation package.

• Forklift experience required.
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Inventory control experience
• Experience picking, packing, and staging orders
• Ability to accurately track parts and quantities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Reliable with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and incoming/outgoing shipments
• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts
• Move materials between warehouse and production areas
• Verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and shipping paperwork
• Palletize, wrap, label, and prepare outgoing freight
• Maintain organized warehouse and storage locations
• Document inventory and material movement accurately
• Follow all forklift, warehouse, quality, and safety procedures
