Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Ontario, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate – Forklift Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have sit-down forklift experience and perform standard warehouse duties including pulling orders, staging, and stocking materials.

Pay starts at $18.50 per hour with full-time hours and a temporary-to-hire path based on performance. You will work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and must pass background checks and a drug test.

Qualifications

• Sit down forklift experience in a warehouse environment required.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks.
• Pass background check and drug test.
• HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull and stage shipping orders, adhering to all customer's special instructions.
• Relocate product to maximize space and locate items.
• Unload and stock material, recording quantity and description.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow packaging instructions and ensure correct labeling.
• Stow items in proper storage areas with correct weight in packages.

What’s Needed?

• Sit down forklift experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Must be able to pass an employment and criminal background check, and drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties in an independent manner with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
