Job summary

New Weds Foods in Springdale, AR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping and receiving tasks on the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am). You will load/unload with a stand-up forklift, ensure product coding, pull orders, and help with stocking and logs.

The role also requires inventory/cycle counts, completing paperwork, and occasionally covering supervisor duties. A high school diploma and 2+ years warehouse experience are expected in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate stand up forklift proficiently.
• Experience with shipping/receiving documents and logs.
• 2+ years warehouse experience, preferably in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Ensure all products are properly coded.
• Pull orders and assist in warehouse placement of stock.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Complete required logs and shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Perform monthly inventory and potentially cover supervisor duties.

Essential Functions:

• Operates fork lift to load and unload vehicles.
• Must insure all products are properly coded.
• Must pull orders and assist in warehouse placement of stock.
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Must be able to complete all required logs, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and Perform monthly inventory without assistance.
• Assist Set-up in pulling ingredients or loading blending platforms, when there are no other duties that must be done
• Must fill in for supervisor
• Must have knowledge of finished goods and raw material storage areas
• Must have complete understanding of shipping and receiving department including paperwork
• This person will operate as a self starter, and be able to multi-task

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of stand up forklift and load move system.

Work Environment:

The job is performed in the production area where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
