Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Brook Park, OH is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator on second shift. You will move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment on the warehouse floor using a forklift, cranes, and hand trucks under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include stocking and picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, performing counts, inspecting equipment, and adhering to health, safety, and 6S standards. Minimum forklift experience and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Must be able to sit, bend, twist and kneel as part of daily tasks.
• Compliance with safety, health and 6S standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately removes and stocks product and supplies according to plan.
• Selects product to fill orders and packages them properly.
• Loads and unloads trucks; verifies correct items.
• Picks, processes and packs orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Performs cycle counts and inspects defective material.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains cleanliness.
• Inspects forklift at start of shift and reports issues.
• Follows health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.
