Job summary

Socket.dev in Denver, CO is seeking a Pack and Ship Supervisor to lead the Pack and Ship Associates, directing the flow of packages from preparation to shipment and ensuring accuracy of labels and bills of lading.

You will collaborate with warehouse and purchasing, monitor time sheets, and drive efficiency while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• One year of management experience required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.
• Manage documents such as advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading.
• Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
• Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders.
• Interview, select, train, supervise and lead Pack and Ship Associates.
• Ensure Pack and Ship team is operating efficiently and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.
• Review weekly time sheets of Pack and Ship Associates.
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Report to management on activities and issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Handle returns and exchanges.
• Perform duties of Pack and Ship Associates, leading by example.

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm (Shifts are subject to change during peak seasons, which will include weekend availability)
