Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB is hiring a temporary Warehouse Worker – Floater for 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) in Houston. The role supports warehouse, shipping/receiving, packaging, and inventory control to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, staging, labeling, and transporting materials, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, and assisting in year-end counts. Prior warehouse experience and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with inventory systems or material tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials, products, and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas.
• Package and prepare products using equipment such as shrink wrap machines and hand tools.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers; build pallets as required.
• Measure, weigh, count, and label products and materials to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to verify packaging and quality standards are met.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and systems.
• Transport materials to designated warehouse locations, staging areas, or shipping points.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
